KCUC Welcomes Jeffrey Marks, MD to our practice. Dr. Marks is a Kansas City native who joined KCUC after completing his residency in Urology at the University of Colorado. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Missouri in 2011. In 2015, he received his M.D. from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. While in residency, he developed a significant interest in robotic surgery serving on the University Robotic Steering Committee, publishing on novel techniques, presenting videos at national meetings and developing a curriculum for residents.
Dr. Marks has an interest in all aspects of urologic care. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones, enlarged prostates (BPH) and urologic malignancies of the prostate, kidney, and bladder. He has been trained in and published on advanced techniques in robotic surgery using the DaVinci Robotic platform. Dr. Marks is a member of the American Urologic Association.
On a more personal note, Dr. Marks loves spending time with his wife, Andrea, and 9 month old son, Henry. He developed a passion for skiing and snowboarding after spending his residency in Colorado. He is an avid Chiefs and Royals fan.
