Dr. Probst is a St. Louis transplant who is excited to join Kansas City Urology Care. After graduating with degrees in biology and economics from Southern Methodist University, he attended the University of Missouri where he received his M.D. and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. In 2016 he began a general surgery and urologic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee.

During his training he developed research interests in robotic surgery, kidney stone management, urologic oncology, urologic trauma and patient safety and quality improvement. He has published on the aforementioned topics and presented at local, regional and national conferences. Eager to further pursue these interests, Dr. Probst completed an Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery fellowship through the Endourological Society at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Probst manages all aspects of urologic pathology including sexual dysfunction and kidney stones. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques for the management of urologic malignancy, urologic reconstruction, and enlarged prostate (BPH). He has extensive training on the DaVinci Robot surgical platform and Aquablation of the prostate. Dr. Probst is a member of the American Urologic Association and Missouri State Medical Association.

In his free time, Dr. Probst enjoys traveling with his wife and playing fetch with his 6 year old pup, Luna. He is an avid college football and soccer fan.
