Dr. Wright joined KCUC after practicing in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 2006. He and his family relocated to be closer to family in metro area.
Dr. Wright is a graduate from University of Kansas Medical School. He completed his general surgery internship at St. Luke’s Hospital and his urological training at KU Med. He was awarded an endourology fellowship at Loyola University of Chicago, and focused on minimally invasive treatments of complex kidney stones, kidney cancer, and kidney donor transplant retrieval.
He has held many service appointments including as president of the Oklahoma State Urologic Association and as medical director of Midland Stone Management. In addition, he has served on the medical executive committee at several hospitals and as the former chair of urology at St John Medical Center in Tulsa.
Dr. Wright is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is licensed to practice in Missouri. He is an active member of the American Urological Association including the South Central Section of the AUA and the Endourological Society. He has published multiple articles on minimally invasive urologic surgery.
Dr. Wright brings a vast experience to KCUC including expertise in minimally invasive urologic surgery, advanced stone disease, robotics, BPH, and men’s health in Independence, MO.
