Dr. Stephens is a Kansas City local, growing up in Overland Park. He graduated with honors from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in chemistry. He received his M.D. with honors from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2020 where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his Urologic residency training at University of Kansas. As a resident, he was inducted into the Gold Humanism honor society and was the recipient of awards for excellence in patient care.
Dr. Stephens received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of all urologic disorders to include enlarged prostate (BPH), erectile dysfunction (ED), urologic cancers and kidney stones. To best meet his patient’s needs, he utilizes a wide breadth of the latest minimally invasive techniques to include the DaVinci robotic system, Aquablation, and innovative treatments for complex kidney stones.
In his free time, Dr. Stephens enjoys playing tennis, attending country music concerts with his fiancé, gardening, and cooking. His ideal vacation spots usually revolve around his love of scuba diving.
