Sarah Young, NP-C started with KCUC in 2021. She graduated from Fort Scott Community College in 2002 with her Associate degree in Nursing. In 2015, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas. She fulfilled her lifelong dream in 2020 by earning her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Adult-Gerontology from the University of Kansas.

Prior to practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, Sarah worked for 18 years as a nurse. She has experience in the inpatient and outpatient oncology setting, post-surgical units, and progressive care units.

Sarah is a certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in Kansas and Missouri. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an Oncology Certified Nurse.  Sarah’s responsibilities are divided between the inpatient and outpatient settings.
