Dr. Susan D. Sweat joined KCUC on January 1, 2004. She graduated from Baker University in 1990 and received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1994. She completed her urologic training at the Mayo Clinic in 2000. Dr. Sweat spent a total of 10 years at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. (Clinical training including residency then hired as a senior associate consultant and consultant) She was a staff physician in the Department of Urology at Mayo Clinic for three and a half years before moving back to Kansas City. She has authored and co-authored many articles and abstracts in the field of urology.

Dr. Sweat practices many aspects of general urology but mainly focuses on the surgical treatments for urologic issues. She is a leading robotic surgeon in the Kansas City area.
